St Andrew’s Senior Care Centre (Henderson) offers a range of eldercare services. Church of the Good Shepherd volunteers at the centre on the 4th Wednesday of every month. The volunteers interact and bring cheer to the Seniors in the Centre by spending time with the Seniors through songs, games and crafts. Many of our volunteers find that the most meaningful time of these sessions is when we have conversations with the clients, chatting about the past, the present and anything that may interest them at all.
We also read the Bible and share some lessons with the Christian clients in the Centre. It is our hope that we may bring the presence of the Lord to the clients and workers in the Centre, and to show them that God loves them.
