Care groups are a place for you to connect, grow, and be cared for as we follow Jesus together. In these small communities, we draw closer to God and grow as disciples through deeper relationships, shared accountability, and Christ-centred fellowship.
As part of the life at COGS, care groups also help us live out discipleship through service, outreach, prayer, and learning God’s Word together.
What you can expect:
• A more personal and meaningful experience that large gatherings often cannot provide
• A place to share life, grow together, learn love, and practise mutual accountability
• A safe space to serve and exercise your giftings as we build one another up in Christ
Shepherd’s Kidz is a place for children to feel at home, to learn about Christ and play together. Here, children feed on God’s Word and experience His nearness through activities like lessons, drama, movies, pop-quizzes, songs, and dance.
Anchored by a core team of trained volunteers, this ministry is where one generation models and teaches the next about their faith and the faithfulness of God.
Whether you’re new to the church or have been around for years, you’re welcome here. We gather as women of all ages to build genuine friendships, be encouraged, and journey through every season of life together.
Along the way, we host a variety of events designed to nourish the whole person, from arts and creative workshops to reflective sessions, women’s empowerment conversations, and health and wellness gatherings.
Through fellowship, God’s Word, and prayer, we support one another, grow deeper in faith, and learn to live out our calling at home, at work, and beyond.
Evergreen Ministry is a ministry for seniors in COGS and the wider Queenstown community. We seek to create a warm space where the elderly can find friendship, encouragement, practical support, and a listening ear.
Our ministry has a two-fold focus:
1. Caring for elderly COGS members, guests, and family members in need of support or companionship.
2. Reaching out to seniors in Queenstown through monthly gatherings and community projects.
Together, we hope to help seniors feel seen, valued, and loved by God and the community.
